Monohon is a slang term in Japanese meaning ‘the real thing.’ 
London experienced a significant surge in the number of ramen bars in 
recent years but most of them were too fusion for Monohon Ramen’s 
founder chef Ian who lived in Japan in the 90s. Monohon aims to bring 
a genuine Japanese ramen experience and the hustle and bustle from 
Japanese back alleys to London.
